Prof. Edmund Campion, Director of CNMAT, will be delivering a talk at BAMPFA on November 3, 2022 at 12:45pm as part of the Arts + Design Thursdays speaker series. The talk is free and open to the public and will also be live streamed via the web.
Laetitia Sonami will have an extended residency at CNMAT from October to November 2022. She will work closely with students and guest researchers on the application of sensors for musicians, composers, and sound artists. Her residency will culminate in a workshop concert presenting new pieces by CNMAT composers and researchers on November 18, 2022 at 6pm.
Sonami is a composer, sound artist, performer and researcher.
Prof. Carmine Emanuele Cella has been awarded the Traiettorie Music Prize 2022 by the Prometeo Foundation.
Carol Robinson will be in residence for several days in mid October.
Huck Hodge will be visiting in early October 2022. He will be participating in the music department colloquium series which will happen at CNMAT and also giving a performance of his work.
Mari Kimura (CNMAT affiliated researcher) and Roberto Morales (CNMAT Alumni) will be visting CNMAT at the end of September 2022. They will be giving workshops on their recent work and a concert.
Eric Raynaud (Fraction) will be a guest artist and visitng researcher at CNMAT this fall.
Fraction is a new media artist whose work focuses in particular on immersive and audiovisual experience design.
Rachel Chen will be a visiting researcher at CNMAT for the fall of 2022. She will be conducting research at the intersection of music, technology, and special education.

On Tuesday, July 5, odot v1.3.4 was released through the Max Package Manager. This new release, prepared by John MacCallum, provides support and compatibility with Apple's M1 processors as well as other minor updates and bug fixes. Users should update Odot through the Max Package Manager:
